Where does the time go? Just yesterday we we’re heading down to Target to buy these albums on CD, because our internet speed sucked and our iPod touches were already full of Angry Bird games.

These great electronic albums may already be 5 years old, but they’re all still worth a listen. The sounds of yesterday influence the sounds of today, and you never know how today’s music will influence the sounds of tomorrow!

Check out our favorite electronic albums from 2011 below:

Justice- Audio, Video, Disco

These boys have been known for their rock and roll influenced French house, but Audio, Video, Disco took them in a different direction than their first album “†”

M83- Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming

“Midnight City” was their biggest song off the album, but the entire album is great. Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming is one of our favorite albums from the past decade.

Thievery Corporation- Culture Of Fear

You might not have heard this album. And if that’s the case, you need to listen to it!

David Guetta- Nothing But The Beat

Guetta’s 2011 breakthrough album did very well on the charts, and featured collaborations with Flo Rida, Nicki Minaj, Snoop Dogg, Usher, and Lil Wayne.

Daft Punk- Tron: Legacy Reconfigured

This remix album featured remixes from Moby, Kaskade, Avicii, Paul Oakenfold, The Glitch Mob, M83, Pretty Lights, and The Crystal Method.

Gil Scott-Heron and Jamie xx- We’re New Here

Although this album didn’t do so well when it came out, it’s still worth a listen!
