If you’re coming back or heading to Coachella this week, you should start preparing yourself now for Goldenvoice‘s new festival that is jokingly being referred to as “Old People Coachella”.
The festival doesn’t have a name yet, but it’s going to be Empire Polo Fields in October. That’s the same venue as Coachella and Stagecoach, so they’re clearly prepared to throw another massive festival.
The lineup at this point is rumored to include Paul McCartney, Bob Dylan, the Rolling Stones, the Who, Neil Young, and Roger Waters of Pink Floyd. That’s one hell of a lineup, and it’s safe to say if this lineup is real that you will never see a show like this again. The best part is both you and your parents could go and everybody would love it!
We’ll probably be there rocking out with the old school crowd, but the million dollar question is will the older rock crowds really be down for a harsh weekend of partying in the desert? Could they handle the sunburns and hangovers that come with any party like Coachella?
